Vito Palmieri | Chairman of the Board
Vito led the team at EASi as CEO for eight years and now serves as Chairman of the Board. A smart and seasoned executive, with an inimitable leadership style, Vito also served as founder and interim CTO for two successful high tech start-ups - OptFor, Inc and ADPath Labs. Earlier in his career he spent 15 years at AirTouch Communications in several leadership positions in Product Development, Business Development and Marketing. As Managing Director of Product Development, he was responsible for $400 million in incremental revenue while leading the development of major industry innovations in ancillary services, fraud reduction and mobile data. He also led the AirTouch expansion in the United Kingdom. Vito received an MBA from Harvard University and AB in Economics from Harvard College.
Carine Schneider | Chief Executive Officer
Carine Schneider is a 25-year industry veteran, co-founder and former CEO of Global Shares and former PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) HRS Partner. Prior to creating Global Shares, an independent provider of stock plan administration and consulting services, she held a senior level management position with Citigroup Stock Plan Services, PWC and was the Leader of the Global Stock Plan Services group at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. She also served as the Director of Customer Services for Corporate Management Solutions (now Solium/Transcentive) and was the Manager of Shareholder Relations at Oracle ® Corporation where she assisted in the initial public offering and managed all aspects of the company's various stock plans.
An industry pioneer, Schneider was the founding Executive Director of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and co-founder and current Board Chair of the Global Equity Organization (GEO) and has chaired the Advisory Board for the Santa Clara University Equity Professionals Certification Program.
Mark Ebersole | President and Chief Technology Officer
EASi's chief innovator, Mark is a systems architect with expertise in designing collaborative web-based platforms to address complex business issues. He is currently developing a specialty tax product that can track and account for a myriad of taxable compensation events for mobile and international employees. Mark's design approach gives customers maximum control over variables and parameters to derive information they need. He applied this philosophy to address the accounting, tax and recordkeeping complexities introduced by FAS123R.
Before joining EASi, Mark was Chief Technology Officer at BenefitStreet. Mark has over 30 years IT systems architecture and design experience. As an industry consultant, he served several major corporate clients including Intel, Deloitte & Touche, Fleet Mortgage, and Plaza Home Mortgage Corporation. In 1998, he founded Synteleos, an ASP software company that served the real estate industry. Mark has an MS in Computer Science from Ohio State University.
Dr. John Gibbon | Board Member
John has built financial services, web services, digital media, search, and community website / social networking software products in roles such as VP Products, Sr. Director of Product Management, and VP Engineering. He has been a venture partner, an officer of public and private companies, an instructor at Stanford Continuing Studies and on the founding team of several companies. John has worked at companies such as Silicon Graphics, TransactPlus - a JPMorgan Chase backed company, BenefitStreet, Moreover Technologies, SuperGroups, Essential/ODS Networks, and Moody's. John earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Boston University and is a graduate of the Executive Program for Growing Companies at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
Richard Moran | Board Member
Richard Moran is a San Francisco based business leader, venture capitalist, social scientist, best-selling author and evangelist for organization effectiveness. He is best known for his series of humorous business books, including Never Confuse a Memo with Reality and Sins and CEOs. Moran currently serves as the CEO and Vice Chair at Accretive Solutions, a global consulting firm. His “In the Workplace” commentaries can be heard weekly on KCBS Radio. Moran holds an A.B. from Rutgers College, an M.S. from Indiana University, and a Ph. D. from Miami University.
Dr. Gordon Rausser | Board Member
Gordon is a recognized national expert on financial markets, a widely-published author and inventor, and a founder of several successful start-up companies. The recipient of 16 national awards for original research discoveries, Gordon currently is the Robert Gordon Sproul Distinguished Professor at U.C. Berkeley and chairman and founder of OnPoint Analytics, Inc. He also served as senior economist on the President's Council of Economic Advisors in the mid-1980's and subsequently as chief economist of the U.S. Agency for International Development from 1988 to 1990.
